How to identified a I20 volume

The following document clarifies the meaning of the "I20" identification string on an "ioscan" output. HP 9000 N and L class servers offers an optional 4Si 4-Channel Ultra2 SCSI Raid adaptor (A5856A I2O RAID ). When configure and installed. the volumes recieve the identification string "I20".

For example an "ioscan -fnkC disk" will present the 4Si RAID physical volumes as:

To verified the configuration of the 4Si controller and it's logical and physical devices, use the "irdiag" command. For example:
